Behind the Build: How Designers Create Squarespace Sites for Different Industries
Every web designer has their own approach to creating client websites. At Circle Day 2025, four web designers demonstrated their process for building Squarespace sites for mock clients in different industries: interior design, service sellers, limited merchandise, and a music festival. Each designer began their project with a curated Squarespace template, and adapted their assigned template to match their mock client’s brand and goals.
The site showcases highlight:
How to develop conversion-ready websites
How to infuse creativity and design expertise into client projects
How to use Squarespace to match and accentuate a client’s brand
How to select Squarespace tools to build a complete user experience
How to use features like account saved sections and shape blocks to optimize workflows
